NEW DETAILS IN OUR COZY AND CALM BEDROOM

As winter is the period we tend to spend more time indoors, and because of that it has been a great excuse for me to make a few change and add new additions to our home. If you follow me on Instagram (if not come say hi) you might already have seen that I shared a few snippets here and there from our cozy and calm bedroom, but I thought I would share them all in a blogpost here too.

As I touched upon in my article how to create a calm home, when I come home I want a space that makes me feel happy and peaceful, somewhere to slow down in a stressful world. And this is truly how I feel when I enter our bedroom after a busy day. It is my little haven where I can relax and recharge, and I love how it has come together.

I have added a few new details recently which I love and I think really ties the room together like for instance the lamp which reminds me of a cloud. The chest of drawers is great for housing extra storage space, and also gives me a space to add a few little personal touches. Here I have my new jewellery box, a vase with a gorgeous dried flower bouquet as well as a frame full of little memories from travels and happy moments. Next to it, we finally got a full length mirror which is great as it has a space behind to hang a few clothes.

What do you think? Does it make you feel calm and hygge?

Want to create a Scandinavia feeling in your bedroom? Do so by carefully mixing functional and decorative pieces you adore. Keep it calm and clutter-free with a designated space for everything. And remember: the little things make a big difference.
